Few Words About Me

One of the most established and well-known lighting designers in Greece. She was born in Thessaloniki. She studied lighting design, set design and theory of drama in the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University from which gratuated at 2009.

She has signed the lighting design for numerous productions of theatre, opera, dance, events and concerts in Europe and Asia.

She gained the Best Lighting Design Award of 2019 at the Event Awards and she was nominated for the Best Stage Lighting Design of  2017 and 2020 at the Greek Theatre Awards.

She has designed the lighting for productions at the Hong Kong Opera, Goethe’s Theatre in Germany, Opera Sao Carlos in Lisbon, Greek National Opera, Opera of Oviedo in Spain, Opera Miejski in Poland, Athens Concert Hall, Uskudar Theatre in Instanbul, Greek National Theatre, Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, Panathenaic Stadium Athens, Onassis Cultural Foundation, Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Ancient Theatre of Herodes Atticus, Thessaloniki Consert Hall, Art Theatre of Greece, Athens Festival and many others.

She has collaborated with directors such as Arnaud Bernard, Renato Zanella, George Petrou, Ester Ambrosino, Daniel Pfluger, Yiannis Kakleas, Themelis Glynatsis, Marianna Calbari, Aggela Saroglou, Sofia Spyratou, Yiannis Houvardas, Nikos Mastorakis, Aris Biniaris, Vassilis Mavrogeorgiou and others…

She has also worked for cinema where she has done the art direction for three feature films with most recent the awarded “Invisible” by Dimitri Athanitis which gained 15 awards in International Festivals all over the world.

She has participated in several film festivals such as Los Angeles Film Festival, San Francisco Greek Film Festival, Cairo IFF, London IFF, Seville IFF and she was invited to Iran from Fajr IFF 2018 in Tehran to give a masterclass  with the subject “Designing the light and the space for a film”. She is also a member of the Hellenic Film Academy.
